Britney Spears Reminisces About Old Tour Outfit On Twitter

Britney Spears reminded us why she is the indisputable Princess of Pop (and has the most covetable abs ever) on Thursday with a throwback photo from her 2004 Onyx Hotel Tour.

Spears posted the sexy photo to Instagram on Thursday with the hashtag #TBT. In the shot, the "If You Seek Amy" star wears pink-and-black lace lingerie paired with a garter and stockings. It takes some skill to sing and dance in such a skimpy outfit and still look that good. She told her followers the scintillating get-up -- which she wore while performing "Outrageous" off her "In The Zone" album -- is one of her favorite tour outfits to date.

Even though the snapshot was taken nearly 10 years ago, Spears' body looks just as amazing today as it did back then.

The 31-year-old has been working hard to get ready for her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood, set to kick off in the fall. She told "Extra" host Mario Lopez that she has been doing yoga to get in shape and has enlisted the help of two separate trainers to keep things interesting. "I'm excited, I'm stoked," she said. "I haven't done a show in a really long time so it'll be a lot of fun."

Maybe Brit Brit should consider bringing this ensemble back into rotation for her upcoming gig. Lingerie definitely makes for the perfect Sin City attire.

The singer, who has been sporting a short pixie cut for years and years ... and years, debuted a brand new look while enjoying a day at the playground with her husband Carey Hart and their daughter Willow. Pink rocked long blond hair, shaving half her head to replicate the Ciara trend which has taken over Hollywood. (Ehem, Amanda Bynes anyone?)

But it appears the "Try" singer stayed true to her roots, keeping one strand of her luscious locks pink. As for why she decided to change up her 'do, it might have something to do with a recent tweet of hers.

"officially decided that June is crazy hair month. If there's something you have been wanting to do---go for it! No Fear! Crazy hair is fun."

Looks like "crazy hair" for Pink means simply growing it out.

Mariah Carey's new album gets a July release date

If you’re a fan of that new-album smell, it’s going to be a good summer for you. Somewhere before Gaga and Beyoncé’s next efforts and after Kanye’s Yeezus, the world will be getting another major star’s latest on July 23: “The New Era Begins,” Mariah Carey wrote on her Twitter, along with the hashtag #MC723.

But the question is, what kind of era will this be? Can fans expect the-title-does-not-fit-the-content misfires like first salvo “Triumphant (Get Em)”? Or will she deliver more good stuff in the easy, breezy “#Beautiful” vein?

We have until July 23rd to speculate; all we know for sure if that this “new era” will not involve American Idol. Readers, what are you hoping to get out of Carey’s next album? For refresher purposes, here is the evidence we have so far:

Janet Jackson Cuts Off Her Brothers?

JANET Jackson has cut ties with her brothers.  The 47-year-old star reportedly kept the extended Jackson clan afloat — but now she’s sick of it.

“Janet has been very generous whenever one of her family came to her for a handout,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“But it seemed like the money she gave them was never enough, and it was only a matter of time be­fore Janet felt like she was being taken advantage of.

“Eventually, Janet had to change her phone number so that her mom, Katherine, was the only family member with direct ac­cess to her. But now Janet’s brothers try to get to her through their mom!

“He wants Janet to cut off her family and he supports her deci­sion one hundred percent.”

Of Janet’s siblings, her five brothers – Jackie, 62, Tito, 59, Jermaine, 58, Marlon, 56, and Randy, 51 – are the most demanding, a source says.

“They’ve asked Ja­net to help them with everything from late child-support payments to home foreclosures and tax liens,” the source said. “But now she’s drawn a line and let them know enough is enough.”

Meanwhile, 83-year-old clan matriarch Katherine stands to hit the jackpot if she wins a $40 billion wrongful death suit against concert promoter AEG Live. She claims the company failed to properly investigate and supervise the doctor hired to care for Michael Jackson in connection with the singer’s ill-fated This Is It come­back tour.

“If Katherine collects just a small portion of that claim against AEG, there’s no doubt her sons will be lined up at her doorstep with their hands out,” the source says. “But the good news is a windfall for Kath­erine will take some of the pressure off of Janet!”

Madonna: 'Why don't you want to fuck me?'

Nile Rodgers has revealed that he bemused Madonna in the '80s by failing to crack on to her.

The Chic legend, whose guitar skills can be heard on Daft Punk's recent Number One smash 'Get Lucky', produced Madonna's 1984 album 'Like A Virgin', which sold over 20 million copies worldwide after spawning the hit singles 'Material Girl', 'Dress You Up' and the title track.

However, the singer was apparently surprised when Rodgers chose to keep their working relationship strictly professional. "I was standing at an elevator when she goes, 'Why don't you want to fuck me?'", Rodgers recalled, speaking to The Sun. 

"I was like, 'What did you just say to me?' She was wondering why I had not propositioned her. She couldn't understand that. It was like, 'Everybody wants me'."

Explaining his decision to keep their collaboration chaste, Rodgers recalls telling Madonna: "One time I slept with a really beautiful artist I was working with and it was a really wrong thing to do. So, I didn't work like that." He also insisted that his relationship with the singer went on to thrive afterwards, saying: "I grew as close to Madonna as I've ever been to a woman without being romantically involved. She was the most driven person. The day I met her she said, ‘I’m going to be a really big superstar'."
